Alone.
Eve was always alone. It was an unbearable feeling, really. It felt like drowning. No matter how much she needed air, she couldn’t get it. There was no one to ease the pain in her heart. Her father, as much as she loved speaking with him, didn’t understand a thing about her. Mikhail and Raphael were always bugging her about practicing her sword play and studying. There was only so much she could take. A deity she may be but she was also part human. Eve didn’t remember how many days she would lock herself in her room, like a pouty child, legs drawn to chest and sobbing her eyes out.
